Any idea how much the show cost back then?
answers.com gives the following information:
Average price of movie tickets in the 1940's:
1940: 24 cents
1943: 29 cents
1944: 32 cents
1948: 40 cents
1949: 46 cents
It was 50 cents for 1950s and 60s.
