Pauline's birthday! Mildred came up & brot the guitar. I sure was glad to get it. Milt came by on his way to work. Then Kate, Mildred & Lucile came, then Bob & Isaac, Sister Wells & Zavia & Otto came up this evening.

Sunday, March 31, 1935

It doesn't seem like Sunday. We had a good dinner. Maggie & Ern came, then Sister Wells, Zavia, & Olivia. About 6 o'clock Roger was real bad. I called Milt & Ern to administer to him & we had a special nurse all night, Mrs. Beewel. She worked with him all night.

Thursday, January 3, 1935

I went over to Mrs. Kelly's & then Mrs. Bennett came & we ate some pie & drank tea. Mildred & Helen & Zavia made toffee. Everett Beach & Donald Dickens came up. Milt & Bob went to the traps & caught a fox & an eagle. I made Lassie a dress & one for her doll.

Wednesday, January 16, 1935

I went over after breakfast & stayed till about 10:30. Dr. Winkle came to see the baby. I took Mildred over to see the Dr. He is going to giver her treatments. She and Zania went uptown & ordered groceries. I stayed with the baby till Milt came home.
