Friday, October 7, 1949

Eudora came about 8:45 for me to go teaching with her. She helped me finish the dishes, the I got Mary ready & we went. We visited Mrs. Ferrin, Ruth Skidmore, Mrs. Montgomery, Phyllis, Thelma, Mrs. Sego, & Mrs. Taylor (7 visits in all!!), then Eudora brot me home & I fixed dinner for Louis. I put up 4 quarts of applesauce & patched 3 pair of overalls. Milt came by & drank a glass of cold buttermilk. I went to my first football game tonite. Cottonwood played Kingman & lost 26-6. Dale got hurt & they took him to the hospital.

Thursday, October 6, 1949

After the kids left for school I ate my breakfast and did the housework, then I phoned to Milt & after a while he & Tiny & Jerry & Diane came down. I've been patching overalls all day. I patched about 18 pairs. Donna took Mary to see the puppet show. Louis went to a Presidency meeting at Verd's. I called Eudora & she said we'd go R.S. (Relief Society) visiting teaching in the morning.

Monday, March 14, 1949

I rode down to Mable's with Mrs Hodges, abt. 8 oclock. I got thru washing at 10:15 & thru ironing at 11:30. I left the other clothes on the line & went to do my R.S. teaching. I went to Norma's then Cecile's then Ruth's & I met Ruth's mother. When I got back to Mable's she & Bryce had gone to work. I stopped at Mildred Schurig's? then at Carol Drumming's then got a ride home. After I rested awhile I sewed quilt blocks.
