I made a dress for Pauline & one for Lassie. Kate came over & sewed a while this evening.

Sunday, September 8, 1935

Lassie, Pauline, Neil & Bob went to Sunday School. I ironed awhile then my back hurt me so I went to bed. Gene helped get dinner. This evening Ern and Maggie came over a while. I've heard about Huey Long being shot this evening.

Milt, Mildred, Phil, Lassie & Pauline went to S.S. Bob has been sick all day. Willie Mae came over awhile. We had a hard rain. Otto & Vernon came down & we had cake & cocoa & coffee.

Kate washed over here. I went up town when Milt went to work & walked home alone. I bought Tiny & Pauline a dress & some shoes.

Thursday, June 27, 1935

After breakfast Milt & Bob took their blankets & some food & went to the lake to fish. Then Neil & Phil went over about noon. Mildred & Lassie went. Tiny & Pauline went uptown. Mildred & Lassie came home about 6 o'clock & Ily Thomas came for Mildred to stay all night with Pauline Ross.

Saturday, June 29, 1935

We washed again. Mildred took the little girls to the show. Milt went on afternoon shift. After supper I walked up to see Mrs. Attchery & then on over to see Harvey & Pauline., Ily & George & they brot me home. I ironed till Milt came home.

Monday, May 20, 1935

The R.F.C. began to work on our road this a.m. Milt watered the flowers & grass. I make Tiny & Pauline each a dress, & wrote to Mama. Lucile & Mildred went up to see Otto. We just heard about Mrs. Chapman's death.

Wednesday May 22, 1935

We washed and got thru about 1 o'clock. After Milt went to work, I sprinkled the clothes & ironed part of them. I made a dress for Pauline. I went down to Mrs. Bennett's.

Sunday, May 26, 1935

Lucile went down to work for Mrs. Tarr. Mildred, Lassie, Pauline & the boys went to S.S. Otto came down & said he was going up to Winslow tomorrow. I went down to Mrs. Tarr's this evening.

Monday, May 27, 1935

I've been sewing nearly all day. This evening we took Pauline & Betty down to the river & Milt baptized them. Mrs. Kelly cam over about dark & we took her home.

Sunday, April 7, 1935

Pauline's birthday! Mildred came up & brot the guitar. I sure was glad to get it. Milt came by on his way to work. Then Kate, Mildred & Lucile came, then Bob & Isaac, Sister Wells & Zavia & Otto came up this evening.

Wednesday, April 17, 1935

Clarence & Ruby left this a.m. & Mildred went to Flagstaff with them. About 11:30 she came back. Milt & I went down to Stewart's this evening. I made Lassie, Tiny & Pauline each a dress.

Monday, April 22, 1935

Neil's birthday! Mildred & I worked in the yard then Milt & I went up town and got some groceries. I got a letter from Willie Mae. I made Bob, Neil, & Pauline each a cake & put candles on them.

Sunday, April 28, 1935

Milt and the kids except Tiny, Pauline, Don & Roger went to S.S & church. Otto came down twice. Lucile went down to Grace's to stay a few days.

Saturday, January 5,1935

It was raining when Milt left for work so I went back to bed. I got up about 8 o'clock & we got breakfast & cleaned up the house. Kate & Helen came over & washed. It has rained nearly all day. I sewed & patched & made Melba's & Pauline's dolls each a dress.
