Tuesday, September 17, 1935
I haven't done much except sit around and read. I sure feel rotten lazy. We got a letter from Loreen and she sent a picture.

I picked over the elderberries and put up 7 bottles of juice. Milt went uptown and sent Loreen a package. Mildred and I put on a quilt and tied it, then I bound it.

Saturday, June 20, 1935
After Gene went to work I got ready to wash. I was almost finished when we had breakfast. I had to iron Milt's shirts so he could wear it to work so we ironed nearly all the clothes. I make a cake for Loreen's birthday hoping she'll come down. We killed the rooster. Willie Mae & Buck came.

Friday, May 17, 1935
Milt & Bob went to the lake to fish. We washed & ironed. We got a card from Loreen & Chet saying they'll be down early in the morning to go fishing. Neil went down to Grace's.
Saturday, May 18, 1935
Reen & Chet came about 7:30. We ate breakfast & then went in their car up Box Canyon & back by Peck's Lake about 7 o'clock & gee I'm tired. Chet went right to bed. Poor guy is sure tired & sleepy.

My Birthday! We went to Sunday School. Milt drove Ern's car. I rode with Chet & Reen. They went home & I rode home with Mr. & Mrs. Hall. I spoke in church. Pres. Call & Pres. Barlow were there. Milt went to work on afternoon shift.

Monday, April 1, 1935
Roger is better this a.m. Milt came by from work. Sister Wells came & stayed all afternoon. Ern brot a letter from Loreen. Kate & Mildred came then Lucile & Milt. Roger's temperature is down a little this evening.
Thursday, April 4, 1935
Oh what a restless night we had. I didn't sleep but about 15 min. at a time. Roger's temperature is down again. Lucile & Mildred came up & stayed while I went down home. I washed a few things & got dinner for Milt & myself then walked back up the hill. Mildred got a letter from Loreen.
Tuesday, April 16, 1935
We washed today then Mildred ironed after supper. Clarence & Ruby came over this evening & we had a nice visit. I called Winslow to talk to Loreen, but she was gone & I talked to Mrs. Wakefield.
Wednesday, April 24, 1935
The girls ironed & I patched the things that needed it, then made Mildred a skirt & Lassie a pair of slacks. I went over to Mrs. Kelly's. John & Ruby & the kids came up. We got a card from Loreen saying Chet had a job. "Lupe" died this evening.

Roger slept pretty good part of the day. Milt, & Don came, then Mildred & Melba. After school Lassie came & this evening Lucile came. Milt brot a letter from Loreen. He had to go to work this afternoon. Dr. Gaede says Roger has pneumonia.

Milt & Bob went to the traps & I went up to Edna's to see how Joyce was. I helped Edna with her work & ate lunch with her & Bob. Gene came & he went with Milt, Neil & Bob up Box Canyon to stay til Sat. night. We got a letter from Loreen.
Sunday, February 24, 1935
Otto's wife, Leda died. Milt went on day shift this a.m. I got up at 4:30. Gene & Mildred went to Sunday School. Loreen phoned & said Leda died about 10 o'clock last night. Poor Otto. I feel sorry for him__ Don has sure been sick all day.

We washed today and I sprinkled the clothes & while Milt & Bob were gone to the traps I ironed. We got a letter from Reen & Chet saying that Reen had won the contest & was chosen queen of the Gray Gold Ball (Loreen Queen of Gold & Green Ball).
Monday, January 7, 1935
I went down & ate lunch with Grandma Schnari then over to see Grace. I rode up town with Ern, met Milt & bought myself a new hat. We rode home with Bob while I wrote to Reen & Chet.
