The girls went to the picnic with Maggie. Vernon came down & we made ice cream & I made a cake. Otto came down then Gladys & the baby came & they all went up town. I went up to see Mrs. Pernia, a car went over the grade just above Hera's house. A lady was hurt. Ern took her to the hospital.

Tuesday, January 22, 1935

Milt drove Mrs. Kelly's car & we went to Prescott. Mrs. Pernia & Kate went too. We got back about 2:30 & Milt went to work. I cleaned up the house & got supper & we just got thru supper when David Asenith & Lawrence came.
