Monday, May 20, 1935
The R.F.C. began to work on our road this a.m. Milt watered the flowers & grass. I make Tiny & Pauline each a dress, & wrote to Mama. Lucile & Mildred went up to see Otto. We just heard about Mrs. Chapman's death.

Monday, March 11, 1935
Milt & I worked out in the yard. We got most of the fence fixed. Mildred & Lucile & Kate went up town. I got a letter from Mama.

We washed again today & had good sunshine all day. The clothes all got dry. I ironed them after the kids went to bed, I got a letter from Mama.
Friday, January 25, 1935
Ern went down & brot Grace up to take her to the hospital. She wanted me to go with her. Nana & I went up & we stayed up town while Ern came after Margie. I set a pkg. to Mama. I got a letter from Lucile & one from Pearl. Gene came.
