Tuesday, July 9, 1935
We ironed & then went down to see Grandma Schnarr. I stayed & visited with her about 2 hrs. & ate lunch with her. We got a letter from Reen & Chet. Bob got the phonograph fixed. Milt fixed the big water jar.

I patched overalls & pants. Lucile & Violet & Gilbert came up form Grace's. We got a letter from Reen & Chet. Buck, Willie Mae & Velma left for Calif.

Friday, May 17, 1935
Milt & Bob went to the lake to fish. We washed & ironed. We got a card from Loreen & Chet saying they'll be down early in the morning to go fishing. Neil went down to Grace's.
Saturday, May 18, 1935
Reen & Chet came about 7:30. We ate breakfast & then went in their car up Box Canyon & back by Peck's Lake about 7 o'clock & gee I'm tired. Chet went right to bed. Poor guy is sure tired & sleepy.

My Birthday! We went to Sunday School. Milt drove Ern's car. I rode with Chet & Reen. They went home & I rode home with Mr. & Mrs. Hall. I spoke in church. Pres. Call & Pres. Barlow were there. Milt went to work on afternoon shift.

We washed today & boy what a washing we had. Lucile went up to Tuckers & Mildred & Kate went up town. We got a letter from Reen & Chet. Mrs. Bennett came up.

The girls ironed & I patched the things that needed it, then made Mildred a skirt & Lassie a pair of slacks. I went over to Mrs. Kelly's. John & Ruby & the kids came up. We got a card from Loreen saying Chet had a job. "Lupe" died this evening.

Friday, February 1, 1935
We worked outside a while & I patched some more overalls & made my dress. We went over to Maggies while David went up town. Milt caught another fox. I got a letter from Chet & Reen. Gene came.
Saturday, February 2, 1935
I washed today & finished about 2 o'clock. David & the boys worked on the rock wall nearly all day. Gene & Mildred went up town. Just after dark Reen & Chet came. they took Milt up to work. Mildred stayed with Kate's kids.
Sunday, February 3, 1935
Milt, David & Phil & Bob went to church. Reen, Chet, Mildred went to see the Tuzigoot ruins. After dinner Reen, Chet, Gene, daniel, Nana & I went to Montezuma Castle & back by Gene's camp to take him to camp. We got home about 6:30.

It has been trying to rain all day & has sure been disagreeable. I sewed a while. David went up town & got a letter from Bro. Bigelow. Chet & Reen, Mildred & Kate went to Humboldt. I kept Kate's children.

We didn't eat breakfast till Milt came from his traps. He caught another ring-tail cat. The kids came home about noon. Lawrence & Rose Hofman came just as we were eating supper. Chet went to Humboldt with Kate's brothers.

David, Asenith, Lawrence, & Mrs. Hofman left for Eager about 8 o'clock. It has rained all day. Reen took the kids to school. Chet came back but did't get a job. Milt went up town & got his check. Chet & Reen went to see Mr. & Mrs. Wiggins.

It is still raining. We haven't been able to wash yet. There is mud, mud everywhere. Reen & Chet went down to stay all night with Mr. & Mrs. Wiggins.

We washed today (just what we had to have) & most everything got dry. The sun shone a while & dryed things out some. Reen & Chet, & Milt & I went to the show.

Milt went to his traps. I washed Roger's clothes and a few colored clothes. Just after supper Reen & Chet came. They drove from Phoenix. I made Roger some rompers.

I went over to see Mrs. Kelly. their up town with Reen & Chet. Mr. Anderson brot some wood. Chet & Reen left for Winslow about 2 o'clock.

We washed today and I sprinkled the clothes & while Milt & Bob were gone to the traps I ironed. We got a letter from Reen & Chet saying that Reen had won the contest & was chosen queen of the Gray Gold Ball (Loreen Queen of Gold & Green Ball).
Monday, January 7, 1935
I went down & ate lunch with Grandma Schnari then over to see Grace. I rode up town with Ern, met Milt & bought myself a new hat. We rode home with Bob while I wrote to Reen & Chet.
