It has rained again all day & we couldn't wash so Tiny & I put a little quilt in the frames & tied it. I bound it then we tied 3 more & I bound them. Roger & I went to M.I.A. with Ern & Maggie & Lonzo. They came up after us & it was sure raining hard when we left.

We sure had a good lesson in our Special Intrest Class. Milt went to work at 9. Carl was sick. I crocheted a little basket before I went to bed.

Milt & Mildred, Jerry & Dickie went out to Everett's Camp to get Monroe this morning. Diane & I rode down to S.S. with them. Roger went early so we rode home with Maggie & Lonzo. We got home at 12 & ate, then I read my M.I.A. lesson till 2:30 & we went to __union(?) meeting at 3 oclock. Kim & Johnnie, ___erwin & Verd were the speakers.

In Sacrament meeting the Ariz. District Presidency were the speakers. Lee Romney sang then he & Fred Harvey sand a duet. I've been studying my lesson & I wrote a letter to Luella.

(In this journal, there are mouse/bug bites in the upper corner of the pages, so I have to guess on the words sometimes. So if you see a blank space or a question mark, you will understand that it is where part of the page is missing.)

After I got the housework done I called Florine(?) & she said she couldn't go up Oak Creek so I decided I'd wash. I was about half way thru when the wringer went (haywire) & I had to wait till Louis came home at noon to fix it, but I finally finished & got the clothes in & taken care of. A man was hurt at the mill today. Mr. & Mrs. Bowers & their son & his wife & 2 little girls came to look over the house. I went to M.I.A. (Mutual In Action-youth church gathering) with Anne Tenney. We had a very good Special Intrest lesson. The 2nd yr. Beehive girls (12-13 yr olds) (Donna, Nancy & Mary Jane) put on a skit that sure was funny. Delbert brot us home after M.I.A.
