Thursday, September 26, 1935
I patched some overall, and Mildred ironed, then I patched the clothes she ironed (part of them). Then Mildred & Kate went to town and got the groceries.
Tuesday, September 24, 1935
I haven't done much today. Mildred & Kate went up town. We cut apples to make applesauce. I sent Grandma Schnarr some apples. Mildred stayed with Vernon's & Glady's baby.

Monday, September 23, 1935
Kate washed over here today. I sewed, then washed out Roger's clothes. I made 3 quarts of peach preserves. Bob quit school, and went to Camp Verde.

We washed Roger's clothes and a few others. I made Melba a new dress all except the buttons and button holes. Kate washed over here.

I ironed while Mildred and Kate went uptown, then she ironed and patched and helped Kate make her slacks and washed and a few more clothes. I sent Nell a card for her birthday. I ironed till about 11 o'clock.
Friday, September 13, 1935
We washed and oh boy what a washing we had. Mildred went uptown with Kate and got some groceries. Milt wen on graveyard shift this evening. We sprinkled the clothes before supper.

I haven't felt good today and haven't done very much. Mildred kept Kate's kids while she and Harley went to the show.

After the kids went to school I went to bed and have stayed there nearly all day. Kate washed over here. Matilda came over to see me. Mildred went up town. Mrs. Kelly left for California today.

Friday, August 2, 1935
I helped Helen do Kate's washing, then I washed for Mrs. Tucker. The girls did most of the ironing then went up town. They ate supper with Vernon & Gladys & Otto. Milt & I went over to Leland & Margaret's this evening.
Thursday, August 8, 1935
Mildred ironed a while & I went up to see Mrs. Tucker & Dorothy, then came home & ironed. Lucile & Mildred went up to see Gladys. Kate's baby was born at 7:40 this evening.
Friday, August 9, 1935
I made Mildred's slacks then washed for Kate. Lucile & Mildred went up to the hospital to see Dorothy. Bob & I played a game of horseshoes.
Sunday, August 11, 1935
Mildred & the boys went to S.S. Lucile came down from the Tucker's. Milt & I went up to see Sister Wells & stopped to see Mrs. Tucker & Dorothy. Then Kate got her new boy. I put up 6 qts. of peaches.

Helen & I washed for Kate. Then I put up 16 qts. of peaches. Milt & Gene went to "School" again tonite. I patched overalls & sewed some then went over to Kate's a while. Mildred & Helen went to the show.

I put up 8 qts of peaches & went down to Grandma Schnarr's. I patched some things for Kate & went over to Mrs. Kelly's. I fixed her slacks for her. Milt went on graveyard shift tonite. I scrubbed the dining room.

Helen & I washed for Kate today. I went up to Dot's tonight and bought her rocker & chairs. I showed Jimmy how to play the mandolin. I came home about 9:30 & cut out & partly made my dress.

Mildred went over to Humboldt with Helen. I went down to Grandma Schnarr's this a.m. We bot some peaches & apples form Fred Bergman. Milt & I went over to Kate's this evening.

I washed for Kate & did our washing too. We bought Dot's buffet & cooler. Milt brot the cooler down & fixed it so we can use it. Bob White brot the buffet down. I am sure tired tonight.
Thursday, August 29, 1935
Milt & the boys cleaned up around the yards. We washed again and sprinkled the clothes. I went over to Kate's this evening.
