Thursday, May 9, 1935
Kate, Mildred & Lucile hiked over to Oak Creek and back. I started to make my dress and got it nearly done. Mrs. Stevens & Mrs. Suheck came for Lucile. Otto got hurt last night & is at the _____ hospital. Milt went up to see him.

Wednesday, January 2, 1935
I walked up town and got a permanent at the Paramount Shoppe, then came home & got supper. I went over & phoned to Mrs. Stevens. I washed Roger's clothes & some of Kate's baby's clothes too. (My head is sure sore).
Tuesday, January 8, 1935
Ern took Grace up to see Dr. Southworth & I went with her. I met Mrs. Stevens & June & talked to them a while. After I ate lunch I went down to see Mrs. Bennett then came home & washed Roger's clothes. Milt & Bob got another fox today.
