I scrubbed the floor then washed & when I got thru Tiny & I walked up to the White Store & ordered some groceries. Mr. Hayes brot them down this evening. Milt & Bob went to the lake & they came home with Ern.

Kate washed over here. I went up town when Milt went to work & walked home alone. I bought Tiny & Pauline a dress & some shoes.

Sunday, June 23, 1935

Milt, Tiny, & Mildred went to church. Gene went back to camp about 11 o'clock. Neil came home from Folletto.

Thursday, June 27, 1935

After breakfast Milt & Bob took their blankets & some food & went to the lake to fish. Then Neil & Phil went over about noon. Mildred & Lassie went. Tiny & Pauline went uptown. Mildred & Lassie came home about 6 o'clock & Ily Thomas came for Mildred to stay all night with Pauline Ross.

Monday, May 20, 1935

The R.F.C. began to work on our road this a.m. Milt watered the flowers & grass. I make Tiny & Pauline each a dress, & wrote to Mama. Lucile & Mildred went up to see Otto. We just heard about Mrs. Chapman's death.

Saturday, April 6, 1935

Milt came about noon. He went to work this afternoon. The girls came up & stayed with Roger while I went down to Mrs. Jones. Phil, Tiny & Don came, also Mrs. Bennett & Louise.

Wednesday, April 17, 1935

Clarence & Ruby left this a.m. & Mildred went to Flagstaff with them. About 11:30 she came back. Milt & I went down to Stewart's this evening. I made Lassie, Tiny & Pauline each a dress.

Sunday, April 28, 1935

Milt and the kids except Tiny, Pauline, Don & Roger went to S.S & church. Otto came down twice. Lucile went down to Grace's to stay a few days.

Wednesday, November 2, 1949

I crocheted most of the fore noon. Then after lunch I ironed awhile then Flora & Tiny finished up. Don came just as I got up at 5 oclock. After Milt came home he & Tiny, Roger, & Bob went hunting again. Don went to Phoenix with Phil tonite.

We washed today then I mangled all the flat work & sprinkled the other clothes. Tonite Roger & I went to M.I.A. with Lonzo & Maggie. Milt, Tiny & Bob went hunting. (No luck.)

Monday, October 31, 1949

Abt. 12:30 I walked down the road a ways & got a ride to Cottonwood with Gene Phillips, & he told me Mrs. Kinsey had died. I went to Relief Society at 1 oclock. There were only 6 of us. Mrs. Drown came with Lydia. After meeting I went to the hospital & saw Virgina Braun (we knew her at Grand Canyon). Then I went to the P.O. & got Sister Trampp's mail & rode home on the bus. Milt, Tiny, & Bob went hunting. Tonite Rosalie, Jerry Vorcutt, Roger & I went to the Halloween dance at the Chapel. We sure had fun.

Wednesday, October 26, 1949

I cleaned up the house & crocheted a while then I ironed. Martha & Tiny came up & then Mildred & Rosalie & all the kids except Penny & Sharon went down to the ranch. I was crocheting when I heard a knock & went to the door & there was a young man who said the was with Don & that Don would be here after a while & in about 15 min Don came. They were both dirty and hungry, they took a bath then ate supper. It was 11 oclock when the girls got home. Tiny & Dee Dee went back to the ranch with Martha & Raymond.

Martha & Ronnie came just as I was getting up this a.m. After breakfast Tiny "put up" my hair then we really did a big old washing. Tiny & Dee Dee went home with Martha. After supper I mangled all the flat work & sprinkled the ones to be ironed.

Wednesday, October 19, 1949

When I got up abt. 6:30 it was starting to snow so I woke Roger & Tiny & we went out & cut a lot of wood & brot it in the house & Roger hauled some over & put it in Mildred's garage. It has snowed a dozen times today but it is clear tonite. Tiny made a basket & I made another one. Mildred & Rosalie washed baby clothes & I dried the diapers & put them through the mangle. I gave my self a hot oil shampoo & steamed my hair.

Saturday, October 15, 1949

Milt & Tom went hunting again. Roaslie & Mildred took all the kids & went up & got the mail. Then Mildred & I went to Cottonwood & got the mangle from Sister Trampp & a lot of the things & the deer heads from the chapel (we washed before we left.) After we got home I run all the flat work thru the mangle & we took care of the other clothes. Tiny, Rosalie & Mildred went to Bridgeport tonite. Carmen stayed with the kids after they left. I ironed then washed the dishes.

Saturday, October 8, 1949

I didn't get up till 7:30 & after breakfast it was raining so I didn't wash I put up 7 quarts of applesauce. Milt came home by on his way home about 1:30. this afternoon I washed the boys blankets & all the overalls 8 pairs for the boys & 4 for Mary. Martha & Tiny came down & Tiny fixed my hair. I called home on the phone & Jerry talked to me. We had cornbread & milk for supper tonite. Dale went to the hospital & they took and x-ray & found this ribs weren't broken but just bruised.

Sunday, March 27, 1949

Milt went on a day shift this A.M. We all went to S.S. with Ern & Maggie, even Tiny, Jerry & Diane went. After we got home we ate lunch & cleaned up the house before Milt came. Lonzo drove Ern's car to meeting tonite so he & Maggie didn't go with us. Milt, Roger & I went in our own car & Roger stayed to "Fireside" & came home with Lonzo.

Wednesday, March 23, 1949

It has been stormy & cold all day bu we washed anyway & part of the clothes got dry. After lunch Tiny & I sprinkled the clothes & took care of them. Maggie said Renie & Al came abt. 9 A.M. & Luella cam on the 2 P.M. bus.

Thursday, March 17, 1949

Tiny went down to Flora's to get her camera & I washed. I was just finishing when she came home. I started sewing quilt blocks. I cut & sewed all afternoon & abt. 5 I began to feel sick & dizzy & went to bed. I sure was sick for about 2 hours. Tiny got supper & washed the dishes. Martha & the kids came up & stayed awhile.

Wednesday, March 16, 1949

Bob's & Flora's 9th Anniversary. I went down with Phil. Martha came over & we ate dinner & cake. I stayed with Penny & Rita while Flora took Bobby to the Doctor. Then Phil took me over to town & I caught the 6:35 bus & came home. Milt wen to a A.G.P.A. meeting at Clarkdale. I left Tiny's camera down at Flora's.
