Tuesday, September 24, 1935

I haven't done much today. Mildred & Kate went up town. We cut apples to make applesauce. I sent Grandma Schnarr some apples. Mildred stayed with Vernon's & Glady's baby.

Sunday, September 22, 1935

Milt drove Maggie's car to church. Mildred & the boys went. Bob & I got dinner. We had chicken, sweet spuds & peach dumplings. I went down to see Grandma Schnarr & showed her my pictures. I made cookies for the kid. 

Sunday, September 15, 1935

Milt, Mildred & the 3 little girls went to Sunday School. We had chicken and gravy for dinner. I went down to Grandma Schnarr's a while and then Bob and I cleaned up the front yard.

Tuesday, September 10, 1935

I went down to Grandma Schnarr's a while, then came home and put up 3 quarts of apples, and 2 1/2 quarts of chilies. Milt & Neil went up the P.J. Road and got some elderberries. Bob, Gene and Mildred went to the show.

Sunday, September 1, 1935

Everyone except Don, Roger & I went to S.S.. Milt drove Ern's car. I made hamburger stew & rice pudding. The girls went up to see Gladys. I went down to Bennett's & boy how it did rain. This evening I went down to see Grandma Schnarr.

Thursday, August 15, 1935

I put up 8 qts of peaches & went down to Grandma Schnarr's. I patched some things for Kate & went over to Mrs. Kelly's. I fixed her slacks for her. Milt went on graveyard shift tonite. I scrubbed the dining room.

Thursday, August 22, 1935

Mildred went over to Humboldt with Helen. I went down to Grandma Schnarr's this a.m. We bot some peaches & apples form Fred Bergman. Milt & I went over to Kate's this evening.

Monday, August 26, 1935

We washed & then sprinkled the clothes & ironed this evening. It has been stormy all day. I went up town this a.m. I went down to Grandma Schnarr's.

Tuesday, July 9, 1935

We ironed & then went down to see Grandma Schnarr. I stayed & visited with her about 2 hrs. & ate lunch with her. We got a letter from Reen & Chet. Bob got the phonograph fixed. Milt fixed the big water jar.

Tuesday, July 16, 1935

I put up plums & elderberries & washed & Boy what a washing. Mildred sprinkled the clothes. Gene got a job. He goes to work in the morning. I went down to take some plums to Grandma Schnarr & talked awhile with her.

Tuesday, July 23, 1935

Bob bought some cantaloupes. We ate breakfast at 11:30. Mr. Anderson brot us some apples, & plums, potatoes. Violet P____, & Mr. Miller came. I washed and got there about 2:30 then sprinkled the clothes and went down to see Grandma Schnarr.

Wednesday, July 24, 1935

We ironed and Mildred made jelly & I put up 7 1/2 qts of plums. Bob got me some jars. I went down to Grandma Schnarr's again & she gave me some little jars. Willie Mae & Buck came over and I sang "Just in the same old way."

Tuesday, June 18, 1935

I washed for Mrs. Tarr & then Kate washed & I helped her. I sewed a while this evening & went down to see Grandma Schnarr. Otto came down this evening & brot his laundry.

Monday, May 13, 1935

Milt went by the hospital to see Otto. Then he & Bob & Neil went to the lake to fish. I patched a while & went down to Grandma Schnarr's, then fixed her dress for her. The girls went to the show.

Saturday, April 27, 1935

We didn't get up till late. After breakfast we washed & Lucile came just as we finished. I sprinkled the clothes & we ironed. Kate & Mildred went to the show. I went down to Grandma Schnarr's this evening.

Sunday, March 17, 1935

No one except Mildred & Lucile went to S.S. Milt made a flower bed & planted some nasturtiums. Otto came down & brot his laundry. Gene went back to camp. I went down to see Grandma Schnarr & ate lunch with her. Isaac brot his mandolin down & I played it a while.

Wednesday, January 23, 1935

Lawrence went home today after Milt went to work. I scrubbed the floors then got supper. David & Asenith went down to see Grandma Schnarr. Today is Melba's birthday. I made a cake for her.

Saturday, January 26, 1935

We didn't get up till 8:30. Neil & Milt went to the traps. We ate breakfast & got ready to wash. david & Aseneth  went to Schnarr's. After Milt went to work we washed. We got supper & I sewed & patched.

Tuesday, January 29, 1935

We washed today. We got thru about 2 o'clock. Milt caught a fox & a ring-tail cat. He brot the ring-tail home alive. David & Nana & Bob worked on the rock wall. Mr. Andyson brot some more wood. Grandma Schnarr came up.

Thursday, January 31, 1935

After the kids went to school Nana & I  fixed breakfast for ourselves. Milt came & we ate breakfast then worked on the rock wall. David went up town & Nana went down to Grandma Schnarr's. I washed Roger's clothes.
