Kate washed over here. I went up town when Milt went to work & walked home alone. I bought Tiny & Pauline a dress & some shoes.

Ern brot my check & I went up town. I rode with "the Clarkdale Cleaner". I bought myself a new dress & socks and also the girls some slips. Milt & I walked all the way home, & I'm sure tired.
