Just as I had the clothes sorted out to wash, Lorene Peterson called & wanted me to come down and wash for her. I washed my hair & got ready & Leon came for me. After I got down there I strained the milk & washed the dishes then started washing & boy what a washing I put out. After lunch I washed the dishes then Lorene took me over to Lucille's. The Relief Society had a sewing meeting. There were only 5 of us. Milt & Jerry came down after me & we came by Sister Trampp's & brot up some of the things she left for me.

After the kids left for school I washed up the dishes & then got ready to wash. Louis & Glen Wright & some more guys poured the cement for the floor of the boys room & we couldn't use the back door. After dinner I mangled all the (flat work) & sprinkled the starched clothes so I can iron tomorrow. Anne came by & took us to Relief Society (at Amy's). Sister Fuller & I finished the little quilt & I bound 3 sides of it.

I rode to Cottonwood with Mrs. Hodges & went to get my shoes at William's Shoe Shop. Martha came down there & we walked up town together. Then I went to the 5 & 10 & got some glasses, and over to Minnie's. I ironed a while then she & I put out a big washing, then ate lunch & started another washing. Aunt Delie sure has been low all day. I went to R.S. Naydine gave the Social Science lesson. Milt came for me at 4 & we came home. Had a flat tire on the trailer. Milt, Jerry, & ackie & I rode up the hill with Mr. & Mrs. Van Derin & Monroe went down to help Pop fix his tire. I called Renie & Luella & told them how had their mother is.
