Sunday, September 1, 1935

Everyone except Don, Roger & I went to S.S.. Milt drove Ern's car. I made hamburger stew & rice pudding. The girls went up to see Gladys. I went down to Bennett's & boy how it did rain. This evening I went down to see Grandma Schnarr.

Monday, August 5, 1935

Dorothy came down & washed. Lucile & I helped her. Mrs. Bennett came by for a few minutes. Mr. Tucker came down & got the clothes for Dorothy. It rained this evening.

Sunday, July 7, 1935

Mildred & Neil went to Sunday School. Gene & Bob went after elderberries.  I put up 15 qts. of juice. Mrs. Bennett came up this morning.

Tuesday, June 11, 1935

I got up early & started to wash about 7 o'clock & got thru at 9. then we ate breakfast. The girls went to work at 8 o'oclock. Bob & Phil went swimming. Mrs. Bennett cam up after dinner.

Wednesday May 22, 1935

We washed and got thru about 1 o'clock. After Milt went to work, I sprinkled the clothes & ironed part of them. I made a dress for Pauline. I went down to Mrs. Bennett's.

Friday, May 24, 1935

Milt went on day shift this a.m. I went down to Mrs. Bennett's & over to see Mrs. Tarr.  After I came home I went over to Mrs. Kelly's a while. Lucile went down to Grace's.

Saturday, May 25, 1935

As soon as Milt went to work I got ready to wash. Neil helped me. I got thru at 9 o'clock then Kate washed & I helped her. Mrs. Bennett came up & I trimmed her hair. We set out some primroses this evening.

Tuesday, May 28, 1935

After the kids went to school I got ready to wash.  Mrs. Bennett came for Mildred to go to Cottonwood with her, I sure had a time getting the washing done. Matilda came over a while. Lucile & Mildred walked up town. I went down to Mrs. Tarr's.

Friday, May 31, 1935

Mrs. Bennett & I walked up town & got some groceries & I rode home with Mrs. Pima, Margaret & Leland. We got supper & I watered the plants & Bob & Milt came. I set old "Henny Penny."

Saturday, April 6, 1935

Milt came about noon. He went to work this afternoon. The girls came up & stayed with Roger while I went down to Mrs. Jones. Phil, Tiny & Don came, also Mrs. Bennett & Louise.

Thursday, April 11, 1935

We washed today & boy what a washing we had. Lucile went up to Tuckers & Mildred & Kate went up town. We got a letter from Reen & Chet.  Mrs. Bennett came up.

Tuesday, April 23, 1935

Mildred got ready to wash about 8:30 and we sure had a big washing. Lucile took care of Kate's children. Mrs. Bennett came by & gave me some pansy slips & I planted them. I sprinkled the clothes.

Friday, April 26, 1935

I went down to Mrs. Bennett's and got the pattern for the wedding ring quilt. Milt went with me & went on over to Mr. Reed's where Mr. Bennett was. Mildred went up town with Kate. Lucile went to the show with Dorothy. 

Monday, April 29, 1935

It was stormy this a.m. I haven't done much of anything except sew quilt pieces. I went down to Mrs. Bennett's  this evening. Mildred went to Prescott with Ern.

Tuesday, March 5, 1935

Lucile came about 2 a.m. After the kids went to school I went over to Margaret's. Mrs. Bennett & I washed her dishes & ___________ then brot her ironing home & I ironed her clothes and ours too. Lucile & Mildred went up town then to Cottonwood with Kate.

Tuesday, January 1, 1935

Gene & Bob went to the traps. Neil & Phil cut wood. I made 2 dresses for Mickey & patched some. Mrs. Bennett came up & stayed about an hour. Gene went back to Camp about 3:30. I washed out my dress & under clothes & socks.

Thursday, January 3, 1935

I went over to Mrs. Kelly's & then Mrs. Bennett came & we ate some pie & drank tea. Mildred & Helen & Zavia made toffee. Everett Beach & Donald Dickens came up. Milt & Bob went to the traps & caught a fox & an eagle. I made Lassie a dress & one for her doll.

Tuesday, January 8, 1935

Ern took Grace up to see Dr. Southworth & I went with her.  I met Mrs. Stevens & June & talked to them a while. After I ate lunch I went down to see Mrs. Bennett then came home & washed Roger's clothes. Milt & Bob got another fox today.

Wednesday, January 9, 1935

After we got the work done I went down & helped Mrs. Bennett finish her quilt then I went over & clipped Grace's hair, came home & got supper & went over to Maggie's & stayed with Grace.
