I ironed while Mildred, Gene & Bob were out at Oak Creek. They went swimming at the ranch. Milt ordered some groceries. We had elderberry dumplings. The berries were off our tree. I made 2 cakes.

Saturday, July 6, 1935

Milt went on day shift this a.m. I washed Roger's clothes & a few other things. Bob brot some elderberries. Neil & I picked them over. Mildred went to town with Zelda. Mr. Anderson came from the ranch.

Monday June 3, 1935

Milt & I went with Ern & Maggie & the kids up Oak Creek Canyon fishing. They didn't catch any fish but we got some plants & sure had a nice time. We came by the ranch & picked some currants. We got home about 8 o'clock & am sure tired.
